The New England Choral Institute - Affordable Conducting and Singing Opportunities in NH Credit and/or Professional Development

This summer the New Hampshire Music Festival will prepare a performance of Johannes Brahms' "Ein deutsches Requiem" for chorus and orchestra to be presented on Thursday, July 28 at 7:30pm. The New England Choral Institute will offer singers the unique opportunity to spend one week (July 22-29) in residence at Plymouth State University to rehearse and perform this work with Dr. Dan Perkins. Participants will take part in private lessons, diction coachings, conducting and vocal masterclasses, 7 hours of Alexander Technique work, group hikes and excursions throughout the lakes and mountain regions of NH, and the final culminating performance with the New Hampshire Music Festival Orchestra.
