The American Prize in Choral Composition: deadline approaching

Dear Colleagues,

Just a reminder that Tuesday, March 15, 2016 is the postmark deadline for choral composers interested in applying for The American Prize in Choral Composition, 2016, presented by The American Prize national non-profit competitions in the performing arts. The prize is designed to provide recognition and reward to composers of works for chorus that have already been performed or read and recorded. There are separate divisions for professional and student composers. There are no age limits.

Official rules, complete information and application forms may be found here: http://www.theamericanprize.org/compositionchoral.html

In addition to music for chorus, The American Prize also sponsors contests for composers of orchestra, band and chamber music, and music for opera, theater or film.
