Mesabi Symphony Orchestra presents Great Masters: Brahms featuring A German Requiem and Academic Festival Overture with Two Rivers Chorale and Voices of Reason Apr 30 and May 1

Location: Minnesota, USA
Great Masters: Brahms!
Mesabi Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Sergey Bogza, presents Johannes Brahms Academic Festival Overture and A German Requiem with Two Rivers Chorale (Timothy Sawyer, conductor) and Voices of Reason (Roy Berg, conductor).
Brahms German Requiem (sung in English) features soprano Catherine McCord Larsen and baritone Gerard Sundberg. This deeply moving masterwork of profound beauty, which Brahms himself called "a Requiem for the Living", urges us to find solace and courage in the knowledge of the brevity of our time on earth, and anticipation of the eternal and transcendent joy of heaven. A dramatic and powerful soul-stirring musical and spiritual experience!
