Whether you are looking for a fun, off-the-wall work for your children's choir or a new arrangement of a beloved classic, look no further than these new treble releases from Colla Voce Music. Stuart P. Oneil's setting of three Lewis Carroll poems is designed not to be taken too seriously; the irreverent texts are all parodies of poems well-known among literary audiences in nineteenth-century England. The music, like the text, is quirky and playful. In contrast, Kerry Boyle has crafted three serious arrangements that would fit well into any intermediate or advanced treble choir's repertoire. To round off this group of titles is Alexa Doebele's new edition of J. S. Bach's duet "Nimm mich mir" from BWV 163. Staying true to the source material, this edition would be suitable for a wide range of treble choirs.
