Analysing an audition for a conducting position

I am involved in a search process for a new choral director/conductor. I am seeking some ideas on how we as a committee can accurately evaluate applicants. My plan is that each person analysing each applicant/audition will fill out a questionnaire. I am planning to create a questionnaire which will break the the analysis into different parts/skills which will be evaluated on a 10 point scale. I would appreciate some advice on this process and how to make these analyses. Thanks!
