17th Varna International Conducting Workshop and Choral Singers Progarm

The 17th annual Varna International Conducting Workshop and Music Academy is offering a 10-day world-class conducting workshop in Bulgaria with expert training under the tutelage of our internationally-recognized faculty: Maestros Bruce Chamberlain, Director of Choral Activities at the University of Arizona, and Dian Tchobanov, Music Director of the Plovdiv State Opera, Bulgaria. The Workshop will include coaching during rehearsals with pianist, chorus and orchestra; conducting a portion of the program repertoire, Vivaldi's Gloria, Schubert’s Mass in G and a selection of works for chamber orchestra, with over 250 minutes of podium time; lodging at 4-star hotel; breakfasts and ground transportation. There are only a few conducting positions available, so now is the time to apply. The Academy offers an exciting Choral Singers Program which includes singing in the Academy Chorus and receiving voice lessons and coaching under our faculty to include world-renowned soprano and instructor, Darina Takova.
