Music Tours to Commemorate the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation
Event Date: December 29, 2016-December 28, 2017
Posted: February 10, 2015
2017 marks the 500th Anniversary of the Protestant Reformation. This is a monumental occasion for the Christian faith, and Perform International has created several unique programs for faith-based music ensembles.
Our advisory panel including Dr. Anton Armstrong of St. Olaf College, Dr. John D. Witvliet of Calvin College, Dr. Paul Westermeyer of Luther Seminary, and Dr. Gene Peterson of Bethel University have collaborated to create meaningful experiences that include spiritual, educational and performance elements. All programs also include visits to the most important historical sites associated with the start of the Reformation such as the Castle Church in Wittenberg, Wartburg Castle and Luther’s Birthplace. Musical highlights include the St. Thomas Church as well as the Bach and Mendelssohn Museums in Leipzig.
Please visit our website at www.Reformation-Music.com to see which of our program suggestions might be of interest to your church choir and congregation. For more information please contact Perform International at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at 770-220-2242
