Looking for choral works based on letters

Love letters? Arguments or education carried out via correspondence?  Any kind of letters.
SATB chamber chorus, very skilled, specializing in contemporary music.  Looking for piece(s) to complement Janacek's "Intimate Letters," which will be played by a string quartet on a shared concert we're planning.

Great concert theme!
"The Knave's Letter" from the second series of Irving Fine's Choruses from Alice in Wonderland is very fun!

The texts of Libby Larsen's "Love Songs" (SATB/pf) are not explicitly letters, but several of them are overtly directed to a recipient, so they might serve the purpose -- and they're also intimate! (And it's terrific music; a lot of work but well worth it. We're performing three of them next Tuesday, as it happens...)

"Dear Sarah" by James Syler, published by Santa Barbara. Very moving.

An upcoming voice recital program in the Philadelphia area will feature settings of letters, many newly commissioned.  Maybe some of the composers would be interested in making choral versions.
Best wishes!

Probably not what you're looking for, but most of the "books" of the New Testament are epistles, i.e. letters; no shortage of settings of those.

Lee Kesselman's Bee! I'm Expecting You! SATB contemporary writing.  Fun.

Picking up the Biblical theme, there is Seven Letters by Antony Pitts. It is pretty difficult but I doubt that will cause you any problems. A recording exists:

Wendy Hiscocks' "Christmas Letter", available from the Australian Music Centre - not easy to sing, but hilarious.
I don't really know the work beyond it's existence and title, but Barry Conyngham's "Imaginary Letters" might fit here

There's a set of songs entitled something like "letters from Ireland". I'm at home though so that's all the info I have at the moment!

Dear John, Dear John (Puncuated by Love?)  by Stephen M. Hopkins is a delightful pair of settings of the exact same text that has simply been punctuated differently (and appropriately underlined musically) to very opposite results.

Korngold's Liebesbriefchen (love letter) could easily be arranged or adapted; it's gorgeous.
